This post is for Dr. Brown, my dean and piano teacher when I was in Southwest Baptist University. I just had a nice conversation with him this morning, it was really good to catch up with him. He was such a great teacher, I learned a lot from him. Besides helping me to visualize my potential, he also let me make my mistakes. While I beat myself up for it, he's more like, Oh well, that's ok, let's see how we can improve on it.
Dr. Brown was also brave enough to let me drive him in his car from the Music building to the Ad building in the rain. And he also gave me one piece of driving advice that I will never forget. I had problems with turns. I always Over-turned, then had to correct myself. He said, just follow the curve of the road. Noone else told me that, all they did was yell and scare the heck outta me. I owe my smooth (haha) turns to Dr Brown!
I'm very blessed to have had a dean and a piano teacher like him. Thanks Dr Brown! I owe you a lot!
